L.E.N. only collects personal information when you choose to give it to us.
At the moment, that means your email address if you join the L.E.N. mailing list.
What we collect
If you join the mailing list, we collect:
- your email address
- the date and time you subscribed
- your consent to receive L.E.N. email updates
We do not ask for more information than we need for this purpose.
Why we use it
We use your email address to send occasional updates about L.E.N., including product development and early access.
We rely on your consent to do this. You can withdraw that consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email. The ICO says consent for email marketing should be specific, informed, and based on a clear positive action, and people must be able to withdraw it easily.
Who processes the data
We use MailerLite to manage the mailing list and send emails.
MailerLite acts as a data processor for subscriber information. For UK customers, MailerLite says its service is provided through MailerLite Limited in Ireland and that subscriber data does not leave the EU.
How long we keep it
We keep your mailing-list information for as long as you remain subscribed or while we still need it for the purpose it was collected for.
If you unsubscribe, we may keep the minimum information needed on a suppression list so we do not accidentally contact you again. ICO guidance specifically recommends suppression lists for this purpose.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you
- correct inaccurate information
- delete your information where applicable
- restrict or object to how it is used
- withdraw your consent to marketing at any time
You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
